Deputy Glitters and Flashy Bull struggle in Haskell

2006 Ohio Derby winner Deputy Glitters and 3rd place finisher Flashy Bull finised 7th and 8th on sunday in the 39th running of Haskell.

Flashy Bull was scratched from the grade III West Virgina derby, which was to be held earlier on Sunday, ran 7th in Oceanport New Jersey race.

Despite running in the top 3 for half the race, Deputy Glitters failed to hold off former Ohio Derby foe Flashy Bull, and finished 8th.

 The winning time for the Grade 1, 1 1/8-mile race was 1:48.85 by Bluegrass Cat.
